Steven Boudreau is a public health leader and arts advocate based in Rhode Island, known for his efforts to integrate the arts into health and wellness in service to the design of Arts and Health as a field of practice for Rhode Island. At the heart of his current work is a consultancy built on experience design and creative facilitation—Steven Boudreau, Experience Architect: Designing Moments – Inspiring Connections. This consultancy serves as the first expression of a broader vision: designing participatory experiences that spark personal, community, and organizational transformation.

Current Roles and Leadership:
Steven also serves as the Director of Equity and Engagement at the Rhode Island Office of Healthy Aging (OHA), where he leads initiatives to promote inclusivity and engagement for older adults. Previously, he was the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Workforce at the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH), overseeing workforce development, career advancement, and leadership programs for a staff of 650+ public health champions. Steven is a current Council member for the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts and former Board member for the National Organization for Arts in Health and The Avenue Concept and a member of the 2023 Leadership Rhode Island Core Program. In November of 2024, he earned his certification in Experience Design through Odyssey Works Foundation.

Championing Arts in Health:
Steven co-founded and co-chairs the Rhode Island Arts and Health Network, a collaboration with the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA). This network evolved from the 2016 Rhode Island State Arts and Health Advisory Group, which he also co-chaired. Their work culminated in the 2019 Rhode Island State Arts and Health Plan, a comprehensive roadmap for integrating arts and creative therapies into healthcare and community settings. He has been instrumental in developing the RI Public Health Artist in Residence Program, embedding artists within public health agencies to address issues like behavioral health, addiction, community voice, asthma control, and refugee health through creative community engagement with artists.

Cam Busch is the owner of the Art Therapy Consults and Studio, Private Practice, Chattanooga, TN. Committed to the value of utilizing arts in healing and wellness with children, adults and geriatrics with physical and emotional challenges and life adjustment disorders. 

Modern day pioneer and bridge builder for the arts and health among interdisciplinary organizations, including the creative arts therapies, the visual and performing arts and holistic nursing. Nominated for the highest award of the American Art Therapy Association, the Honorary Life Member. Received the Tennessee Art Therapy Association Distinguished Service Award and HLM. 

Licensed, registered and board certified art therapist ( 28 years to present ). Supervisor and mentor to rising arts therapists and arts in healthcare practitioners. 

Licensed, registered and board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist, retired 2015. ( 20 years practice ). 

Exhibiting artist and photographer ( 50 years to present ). Extensive solo and group exhibitions, state, national and international, including the Washington National Cathedral, the1996 0lympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, and Russia, China, Ireland and Italy. 

National Arts in Healthcare Consultant NEA/SAH Leadership Initiative Grant training recipient, 2001. Inaugural Creative Center for Women with Cancer, New York City Hospital Artist in Residence training recipient, 2002. 

Benefactor of the arts in healthcare through ( 30 years to present ) elected voluntary board and committee service local, national and international. American Art Therapy Association, Inc., Tennessee Art Therapy Association, Inc., Society for the Arts in Healthcare, Global Alliance for Arts in Health, CHI Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Association for Visual Arts, AIM center, The Sophia Institute, Racial Justice Council, in Charleston, SC, Sculpture Fields at Montague Park, Arts Based Collaborative, University of TN at Chattanooga, National Advisory Freedom Sings USA, National Organization for Arts in Health ( NOAH ) founding member, Core Curriculum writer, Juror for the Hamilton Awards, inaugural steering committee for NOAH founding board of directors. 

Created the Cam Busch Endowed Arts for Health Lecture Series for CHI Memorial Healthcare, Chattanooga, TN, now in its 21st year. Partners have included the Chattanooga Theatre Center, Hunter Museum of American Art, and the University of TN at Chattanooga. Founding member of the CHI Memorial Arts in Health Program (1996) and the Tennessee Art Therapy Association (1993). 

Marcel W. Foster, MPH (they/them), is the Research & Evaluation Associate at NYU Steinhardt. They also serve as adjunct faculty with the Center for Arts in Medicine at University of Florida, and are the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Performance Hypothesis.

They evaluate health initiatives for clients including the US Agency for International Development, Ministry of Health – Sierra Leone, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the National Institutes of Health. Currently, they lead evaluation initiatives for vaccine confidence programmes, Creative Forces: NEA Military Healing Arts Network, and Dance for Parkinson’s.

Marcel is an Emory University 40 Under 40, and serves as the Co-Chair for Arts, Culture, and Museums at the American Evaluation Association. Marcel brings over 10 years of experience as a dance-theatre creator and performer, working  with the Guthrie Theater, Pig Iron Theater, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, Pasion y Arte Flamenco, Susan Rethorst, and David Gordon.

Brenda S. Ross is Community and Partner Engagement Director in the music therapy department at Berklee College of Music. In her role, she works in support of the three key areas of business: Undergraduate Education, Center for Music Therapy, and The Music and Health Institute. Brenda connects with key community and partner stakeholders who share the vision of music as a resource for positively impacting health and wellness outcomes. She works closely with partners on advocacy, education and program development. She brings to her role, training and work as a music therapist, as well as an advanced degree and career in strategy development in varied disciplines including marketing and CRM.

Brenda has had a varied career path in both the non-profit and corporate sectors. Each of her professional experiences, while seemingly different, have informed and positively impacted the role that followed. She sees herself as a facilitator of conversation, a thought partner, a collaborator, and an implementer. Brenda challenges and continuously pushes herself and others towards creative ideation, innovation, and excellence.

She volunteers her time serving on various boards and community committees. Brenda is interested in supporting those organizations that are committed to youth development, dismantling the “isms”, and the arts.

Joshua Vickery is a vocalist, actor, teacher, producer, musical director, arts administrator and conductor. Joshua’s love of music and the arts has allowed him to have an incredible career thus far. He earned his Associate of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance at Indian River Community College, receiving the honor of Outstanding Fine Arts Graduate. He then earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Education/Music at Palm Beach Atlantic University where he served in various leadership roles.

Joshua grew up with a passion for music ministry and service. He served on several large church teams as music and worship director over vocal praise teams, orchestras, youth choirs, drama and pageants. He helped director the Palm Beach Singing Christmas Trees which was televised to thousands in South Florida.

During his tenure in these churches, he founded and served as the Executive Producer of the Central Florida Christmas Celebration, in which he coached youth and adult vocal performers, developed shows and scripts, and managed hundreds of volunteers.

Joshua is the founder of Central Florida Community Arts, an organization in which he was the executive director for 11 years. This organization consists of thousands of artists in multiple choirs, an adult and youth symphony orchestra, children/youth arts program, theatre, School of Performing Arts and programs for seniors, vulnerable communities and arts and wellness. CFCArts strives to make the arts affordable and accessible, and uses the arts as a catalyst to create change in the community in a variety of ways.

Joshua is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Encore Creativity, the nation’s largest and fastest growing choral and arts organization for older adults. He leads the company and is focused on strategic partnerships, fundraising, strategic planning and the national expansion. He is working to leverage Encore to be the nation’s thought leader on creative aging.

Joshua has been a featured soloist in countless venues, produced musical recordings, and been a director of numerous productions. Joshua has been an entertainment leader, casting director, and vocal coach for Walt Disney Entertainment.

He also serves as a consultant for other arts organizations in its beginning stages and a voice for local, state and national arts advocacy.

Joshua currently resides in Pasadena, MD and has enjoyed serving on the board of several fine entities including: Zebra Coalition, Orange County Arts and Cultural Advisory, UCF Non-Profit Advisory Board, Florida Alliance for Arts Education, National Alliance for Music with Vulnerable Communities, Tourist Development Tax Grant Review, and Chorus America Leadership Forum. He has the honor of several accolades including Arts Educational Professional of the Year (FAAE), Orlando 50 Most Powerful People 2017-19 (Orlando Magazine), Top 3 Community Leader (Orlando Weekly), Top Arts Advocate (Orlando Weekly), 10 People who Make Central Florida A Better Place (Orlando Sentinel), and 40 under 40 (Orlando Business Journal).
