The Thrive! Healthy People • Healthy Planet photography exhibition demonstrates how arts-based interventions adapt across diverse healthcare environments, evolving into multiple formats to meet varying institutional needs and spatial constraints.
The original format, currently at St. Ambrose University’s Rogalski Center in Davenport, Iowa, in partnership with the Institute for Person-Centered Care, offers an immersive experience exploring interconnections between human and planetary health. This works well in academic medical centers with dedicated exhibition spaces.
The new banner edition addresses space limitations in clinical settings. Since premiering on Earth Day 2025 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, it has toured through Mass General Brigham locations and is currently at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Boston—the third stop in our partnership with the Osher Center at Harvard Medical School. This portable five-panel format fits corridors, waiting areas, and high-traffic healthcare spaces while maintaining the core message.
Both formats invite healthcare professionals and patients to reflect on the relationship between environmental stewardship and human wellbeing—a connection integrative medicine practitioners understand as essential to comprehensive care.
