The Power of Music in Healthcare: Creative Considerations for Music Professionals is an intensive, week-long, in-person course where performers, teachers, and arts administrators can develop the skills necessary to integrate music into hospital settings. With insights from musicians, music therapists, arts in health practitioners, hospital staff, and patients, this program provides a comprehensive overview of music’s role in healing. Instruction will take place May 31 – June 5 at both the Peabody Institute and Johns Hopkins Hospital, offering valuable real-world context.
