Arts Program Facilitator
(Independent Contractor – 1099)
Location: Ingleside at Rock Creek, Washington, DC
Schedule: Approximately 13 hours per week
Compensation: Hourly rate is negotiable

Ingleside at Rock Creek (IRC) is seeking a creative, energetic, and resident-focused Arts Program Facilitator to provide engaging studio arts and cultural arts programming for older adults within our vibrant senior living community.
What You’ll Do
• Plan and facilitate studio art classes and creative workshops.
• Lead Open Studio sessions and support resident-driven art projects.
• Adapt activities to accommodate varying abilities, interests, and experience levels.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Prepare and organize art supplies and studio spaces before and after programs.
• Collaborate with the Cultural Arts Manager, community staff, and resident Arts & Crafts Committee.
• Communicate with residents for feedback, program ideas, and supply needs.
Ideal Qualifications
• Experience in studio arts, fine arts, mixed media, crafts, or related disciplines.
• Experience teaching, facilitating, or leading arts programming.
• Experience working with older adults, senior living communities, or community-based programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Independent Contractor Information
This opportunity is structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor engagement. The selected contractor will be responsible for applicable taxes, insurance, and business-related obligations and will not be eligible for employee benefits.
