The Department of Performing Arts and Health at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University invites applications for the position of Assistant Research Professor. This is a full-time one-year position that can be renewed up to 2 times.

The successful candidate will bring a track record of research, academic, and professional activity at the intersection of music/dance and health and will be prepared to contribute to the department’s interdisciplinary research, teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses, mentor students, assist with new program development, and engage in departmental service. While the appointment is at the Peabody Institute, there is the potential for research affiliation and collaboration with other divisions of Johns Hopkins University. The Assistant Research Professor will collaborate with departmental faculty and staff at the Conservatory, teaching artist faculty at the Preparatory, and clinicians in the Johns Hopkins Rehabilitation Network’s Clinic for Performing Artists at the Peabody Institute.
